Barbershop Convo Series are community-focused discussions designed to foster open, authentic conversations on various social, cultural, or political issues. Originating from the tradition of barbershops as gathering places, especially in Black communities, these series leverage the familiar, comfortable environment of barbershops to encourage honest dialogue on topics like racial justice, mental health, community development, and more.

These discussions and events aim to bridge divides, create safe spaces for expression, and bring together people from diverse backgrounds to discuss shared experiences and unique challenges. The topics can vary widely and often feature moderators or speakers who guide discussions, helping participants share their perspectives, listen to others, and brainstorm ways to address community issues.
